The Kei Hiraga Exhibition ‘Pop, Psychedelic & Ukiyoe’ will take place at FUMA Contemporary Tokyo | BUNKYO ART in Tokyo from June 16, to June 30, 2016.

In Autumn 2000, Key Hiraga passed away at the age of 64 years while he was attending his retrospective exhibition in the Hiratsuka Museum of Art. His works have gained a higher reputation recently, especially on the Asia art market. We are missing him and do lament his death. 2016 will mark the 80th anniversary of his birth. Therefore, now may be the right time to review his unique and avant-garde art world, while exhibiting his drawings which were made before leaving Japan for France and oil paintings & prints which he produced during his Paris life.
